Greetings Hoarders,

It was a close poll with the most votes yet! The deciding factor was a difference of 2 votes!
But in the end, the 10th Derpy to join the hoard is the cleric derpy!

And what is a cleric but a Band-Aid putter-onner. 

Of course I felt bad for the little Derpy Master (DM) losing by only 2 votes. And my Muse couldn't stop drawing. So... I figured I would make another stretch goal. 

The most backers I have had for a single campaign is 233. We are so close. So, if we can get that many backers, I'll unlock the DM Derpy Master as well. 

But I can't decide which version I prefer.

The DM is surrounded by dice, a stack of foiled/derailed plans (because all players have a way to do that) and a jar of player tears. 🥰

Greetings Hoarders and Mis-adventurers,

After cleaning the green ooze off your clothes as best you could, you make your way deeper into the dungeon.
 
You enter a crypt scattered with bones and charred adventurers.

"Look!" Little Conch calls excitedly, prying a large claymore from the skeletal fingers of an adventurer.


You chuckle as he struggles to lift the weapon. But he insists it will be helpful as you face the red dragon.

Chuckling to yourself you keep going.

Little Ash and Draggo run ahead, chasing each other with a humerus bone.

Conch brings up the rear with his new sword, and the baby owlbear had made itself at home on Ash"s back.

Suddenly a deep rumble shakes through the cavern ahead of you. You call to the Derpies to wait for you, but they have gone too far ahead.

As you enter the cavern you gaze upon the largest chunky dragon you have ever seen, snoring so loudly the floor shakes beneath it.


The Derpies freeze mid run, crashing into each other and tumbling in the scattered treasure. 

You try to quietly call them back, the warm breath of the chunky dragon washing over you. 

Just as Ash, Draggo and the owlbear reach you, Conch arrives. And with a mighty war cry he charges the sleeping dragon.

"No!" You hurry to grab him under his arms just as the chunky dragon opens its golden eyes and stare right at you. 

While you wait for the epic conclusion to this adventure, we have one more Derpy encounter to discover.

That's it! Whoever designed this dungeon wasn't a very nice person!
You wipe away the green slime dripping from your cloak with a sneer.

"Who stuffs a giant cube of acidic goop in a crowded hallway for adventurers to stumble upon? Don't they realize it's a work save hazzard?" You grumble to the eager nods of Derpies, equally soaked in fluorescent green.



Conch munches around the bone he pulled out of the gelatinous cube. At least someone is happy with their loot. You frown at the Derpy who's driven by his stomach more than wit. 

With a sigh, you check to make sure all limbs and wings are in tact before you set off once more.

The lure of booty and treasure draws you forward. You can almost taste freedom at the tip of your tongue... or is that left over bile? 

"Come on, lets get this over with." You usher the Derpies down the only hall not blocked off by a cave-in. There is only one way to go—onwards.

So you put one step in front of the other and march forward. Your wooden sword no more than splinters. But the Derpies are in good spirits and soon you find yourself smiling at them as you venture forth.

"Create your own adventure Backer inspired Derpy Dragon pin" polls have been released. But I am still taking suggestions. So if you don't see what you like, add it to the comments and if it inspires me I might even add it to one of the options tomorrow (same poll, just more choices added). Deadline to give ideas is midnight tonight. This poll will be open until Friday. Then we will work on the details together as I sketch it over the weekend. 

In the meantime, we are so close to unlocking the loot for the SIDE QUESTS!

Both Dungeons & Derpies & Dungeon Familiar unlocked the 2" sticker! We are plotting along to a 3" sticker! But, the side quest on Dungeon Familiar side is a little behind and needs your help. So once you have followed the quest from HERE go to their community tab and help make their loot bigger too!

We are SO CLOSE to finally unlocking the FREE quest sticker for following my Patreon! And I am loving seeing your names in the comments! Greetings Hoarders and Mis-adventurers!

You did it! You managed to complete the second side quest! The collaboration pin will now be 2" inches! But, there is one more level to achieve! You can have a second enlarge spell cast upon the sticker with the final SIDE QUEST! But bigger loot is harder to get, so for this one we need 100 backers to take the side quest!

The first step is done on my Remarkable 2, which doesn't have the ability to record timelapses, but the rest is done on Photoshop :)


Naturally I really loved this little guy, and thought why settle with just a sticker, when we can unlock him as a pin design? So....the new stretch goal will unlock him when we reach $20,000! Because every derpy requires a noble steed!

While the first one will be a completely backer inspired design (determined by polls), the second one will be based on this sketch:

I was inspired by one of the derpies trying to pick up a claymore, which is much too large for it. Totally ineffective in the hands of a Derpy ^_^ (Design not final!)

You knew that finding a chest was too good to be true! What devilry hides a monster in the shape of booty? There must be a warlock involved somehow...You are sure of it. Luckily, Draggo was much hungrier than the mimic. You doubt that mimic would attempt to munch on Derpy Dragons in the future.


You limp away from the battle. But you prevailed and your pockets are heavier with loot - even if it is only a single gold coin and a new scar. But you won't let that deter you! There are more doors and more booty to acquire after all! 

You must be drawing to the end of the dungeon. So what else could possibly go wrong? You tighten your sword and march forth, the three Derpies close behind. Draggo is using a splinter from the mimic's body as a toohpick, a rather smug expression on his face. 

You take a deep breath and peer around the dark hallway. You find...

Greetings Hoarders and Mis-adventurers,

Apologies for not stopping by yesterday with the poll results, but I went on a side-quest with my family instead! So I am extending yesterday's poll until tomorrow for you to vote on!

After feeling refreshed from your short rest, with a new spring in your step about the bigger loot you will find with your side-quests.. You gather Conch, Ash, and Draggo, to search for a way out, but to do so you need to do some back-tracking to where that main quest sign was. 

You can't believe your luck! As you enter a new room, you see a tall marble pedestal with a thick tome perched on top of it. [*insert angelic sounding music*]

It's the mythical ultimate guidebook on dungeoning and adventuring! Throwing caution to the wind, the Derpies rush in and take the book. 

However, as you watch them flip the book over and over, you soon realize that none of them has a clue how to read! Luckily they have you in the party, and you offer to take the book from their little claws.

Perusing the tome, you find the clues to how to escape this dungeon. Jotting down some notes, you tell the plan to the Derpies who eagerly nod to your suggestions. Unfortunately, the tome is so large that it easily weights as much as a Derpy. And without a bag of holding, you have no choice but to leave it on the pedestal for someone else to find.

Eager to escape with your life in tact, you turn towards the path of freedom. However as you pass a narrow hallway, all 3 Derpies' eyes light up as they all unanimously turn towards the side quest!

"No! Wait! That's not the way!" you call after them. But to no avail.

Groaning inwardly, you follow them after several ineffective attempts to dissuade them.
Why can't Derpies follow simple instructions? You wonder to yourself as they push open an ominous-looking door. What are the chances there's treasure behind there instead of a monster? 

Vote in today's poll and let me know what happens next! We are also REALLY close to unlocking the LOOT for BOTH active side-quests!

I can also finally share the very rough first draft of the Collaboration sticker! (Keep in mind, this is a sketch and the final sticker will look very different - in fact, I am already planning to add a wooden sword!)
